The Asia Pacific Youth Network (APYN) warmly invites you to join our first live global discussion on how we can promote justice for ‘Comfort Women’.
During World War II thousands of women from Korea, China and Southeast Asia were forced into sexual slavery by the Japanese government for the Japanese armed forces. They were known as ‘Comfort Women’ The survivors of these war-time abuses have not received an apology from the Japanese government. Time is running out for them, so this August, the Asia Pacific Youth Network (APYN) will join the rest of the world in solidarity actions to call for the Japanese government to finally give these women the justice they deserve.
Join us on 10 August at the APYN Fan Page (look for the event), for an interesting live discussion about ‘Comfort Women’ and find out what you can do to help. We welcome people of all ages, opinions and from different parts of the world to join us in learning more about this issue.
