Support the development of the Bahasa Facebook Group
We need a facilitator or two to maintain and develop the APYN Bahasa facebook group!
Essential skills:
- understanding of Facebook,
- fluency in Bahasa Indonesia/familiarity with Bahasa Malay
- and fluency in English,
Minimum three month commitment. Some translation experience is preferred.
Outcome: a dynamic community of APYN that engages with APYN through shared language – Bahasa. Looking to grow by 100% in three months, to have discussion and interactions visible and participation in at least one campaigning activity.
Work with a small team of 5 people to build this online community into something special!
Support the facilitation and development of APYN Bangla online facebook group
We need a facilitator or two to maintain and develop the APYN Bangla group!
Essential skills:
- understanding of Facebook,
- fluency in Bangla and English,
Minimum three months commitment. Some translation experience is preferred.
Outcome: a dynamic community of APYN that engages with APYN through shared language – Bangle. Looking to grow by 100% in three months, to have discussion and interactions visible and participation in at least one campaigning activity on December 5.
Support the facilitation and development of APYN English, Hindi and Urdu Orkut group/s:
We need a facilitator or two to maintain and develop these APYN networks!
Essential skills:
- understanding of Facebook, Orkut, Twitter,
- fluency in Hindi or Urdu and English,
Minimum three month commitments. Some translation experience is preferred.
Outcome: a dynamic community of APYN that engages with APYN through shared language. Looking to grow by 100% in three months, to have discussion and interactions visible and organize using online tools for the Justice for Bhopal campaign.
Support the facilitation and development of a new APYN Chinese network or online translations for the www.apyouth.net blog.
Outcome: Investigate and recommend two online platforms for online APYN Chinese network and to provide content and translations and promotional materials and tools for use on www.apyouth.net.
- Writing ability of Traditional or simplified Chinese AND English.
- Some translation experience
- Some understanding of how young Chinese speaking communities in the Asia Pacific region are communicating online.
Online Promoters – for December 5 (((Demand Dignity))) : 4 positions.
Requires:
- Online mobilization skills, including the ability to use your personal networks to engage people to take action.
As part of a small team, develop online promotional strategies for the December 5 and (((Demand Dignity))) campaign.
Develop an online letterwriting network

Create facebook applications – quiz’s, gifts, games and more for a range of human rights themes
Build an online tool for facebook, twitter or other online social network space which is popular in your community!
We need a way for people to invite their friends to join in campaigns including: Abolish the Death Penalty, on behalf of individuals, Stop violence against women, to (((Demand Dignity))) and more…

Develop 3 training materials for online activist
We need three training materials: how to use facebook, how to use twitter and how to maintain online networks for all APYN people to use!
Essential skills: solid understanding of these three platforms, ability to develop and provide online training materials, interest in keeping language simple and techniques accessible!

Can you speak a language other than English? We need volunteer translators to assist in making different tools available to different users!
