Paula’s Adventure in Taiwan – Day 5, 6 & 7

Paula’s Adventure in Taiwan – Day 5, 6 & 7

June 17, Friday - “Rest day”

Been really busy these past few days, exploring Taiwan and having lots of fun. Especially June 16, early morning photo session then NGO visiting, then Raohe night market . SO I had a loooong super comfy sleep…woke up almost 11 am of June 17 :)

Practiced a little in my hotel room, then ate lunch, practiced a little again then went online to update my friends and family. I helped Yu-Shan and the others to move some stuff needed for the concert :) aaaaaand…went to the DAAN PARK!!! weeeee I like green scenery sooo much!! IT’S SO PEACEFUL….It helped me relax for the upcoming concert and reflect a little about recent exploration I’ve made…:)

Well…my June 17 is pretty much all about preparing for June 18!

Enjoy the awesome music! And be AWESOME!!!— By promoting freedom!

June 18, Saturday - “Free Burma!”

So many things happened within just 3 hours. Because of that, it became more difficult to believe I’m going home :)

I’ve witnessed awesome musicians perform! I’ve got great feedback from everyone, especially from “The Man”, the rock star himself, Mr. Freddy Lim. (he looks soooooo different in person). Well…the concert is really the highlight of my day Thanks to Ms. Karen for translating most of the parts of the event.

Honestly, I’m still reflecting about the whole trip. Besides the fact that it’s inevitably super fun!!! I realized the intensity of the pressure in promoting freedom; promoting that universal law. :) Also, the value of music as a great medium to disseminate information & concerns about the need for global support :)

Can’t get a hang of it. Actually I slept like….I think…3 am? (almost)
then woke up 6 am to prepare for June 19..NGO visiting :) ) then to airport. (I’m going home )

June 19, Sunday – “No Goodbyes”

The trip may be over, but the fight isn’t.

As I continue to hone myself in my own fight for freedom (from poverty) back home, I’ll continuously improve my musicality, expand further my horizon by gaining more understanding of human rights and basic law. :) pretty basic stuff I think.

Sooo…the day’s highlight was about TASAT (TransAsia Sisters Association in Taiwan) activities, and community exploration :) Ms. Jean guided me and provided me with facts (cases they’ve handled) I didn’t know and was hesitant to believe to, at first.

So I further realize how everything works. Moreover, how they’re risking everything to make  the law function like it’s supposed to. :) omg

cool.

Anyway….Ms. Sandra also noted that I should make more songs. :) They’ll be having future events and may invite me again :) And I’m more than willing to create songs about little victories…about how close we are to the goal…:)

More powers to the knights who fight for freedom!

& don’t forget to grab a copy of the album once it’s released!!! Check the websites for updates :)
