Current Action – Tell the Chief Minister of Orissa Stop Farmers from Being Kicked Out of Their Homes!

farmer5The Orissa state authorities forcibly evicted at least 200 farmers out of their homes from two villages of the Jagtsinghr district in India and destroyed betel vines and farming sheds in common land in order to make way for the biggest foreign direct investment project in India – US$12 billion steel plant involving South Korean steel giant POSCO! And as many as 2,000 families may be forcefully evicted!
